I came to this country from South Africa with very little. What I carried with me was a belief that an extraordinary life is built, not inherited, and that the people willing to chase it deserve someone in their corner who has done the same.
That belief has shaped everything since. I’ve been fortunate to reach a level of success in, as an Olympic athlete, and successful businessman, that the version of me who first arrived here could scarcely have imagined. I’ve traveled the world, married the love of my life, and built a growing family alongside her. Every day, I get to live what I once only hoped for.
But success has clarified my mission rather than ending it. My purpose is to live my fullest, richest life and to help others do the same. I have a real heart for business owners and families. Too often, I’ve watched good people get held back from the life they’ve worked for, not by a lack of vision or effort, but by financial advice that never pushed beyond the conventional playbook.
The clients I serve tend to be builders, dreamers, and providers, people who haven’t settled elsewhere in life and aren’t looking to settle on their financial picture either. My job is to bring clarity, real strategy, and the kind of 3,000-foot view most people simply can’t reach on their own. We filter every decision through a single question: does this bring you closer to the legacy you are building? And when markets tempt you to abandon a sound plan, my role is to be the steady hand that keeps your strategy aligned with your purpose.
That work never loses sight of the four areas that matter most: income, lifestyle, protection, and legacy. I bring years of experience helping families and business owners make confident financial decisions. On the investment side, my approach is both foundational and opportunistic, blending active, passive, and tactical strategies across public and private markets, with every portfolio built around a client’s goals and risk tolerance rather than the chase for a return figure. I hold the CFP® designation, along with Series 7 and Series 66 registrations and life and health licenses, and I’m nearing completion of my Enrolled Agent (EA) designation with the IRS. My focus areas are financial planning, investment research and analysis, and tax planning.
When I’m not working, you’ll most likely find our family at Disney World, EPCOT specifically, or cheering on the UNC Tar Heels.
